Broadcast News Training (BNT) Productions is an independent television company based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. With a core partnership of three former BBC producers, BNT Productions can offer expertise in all aspects of Television, Corporate and Commercial Production, from development to delivery. 

BNT Productions are quickly expanding into the commercial video marketplace. Our videos cover a wide range of topics from railway journeys on the footplate with the driver and fireman to stunning aerial landscape views of the countryside of God's Own County from one of Britain's most religious shrines to extreme weather images taken from BBC and personal archive of floods, snow, wind and drought. We have currently four videos on the market: The North Yorkshire Moors Railway From The Footplate, on standard tank engine 80135; The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway From The Footplate, the backdrop for the Railway Children; Yorkshire from the Air, featuring stunning aerial scenery from North, East, West and South Yorkshire and a co-production with Great Northern Books Extreme Weather with Paul Hudson, the BBC Look North Weather Presenter. Our future videos which are still in production are: The West Somerset Railway From The Footplate; Welcome to Walsingham, a picturesque guide to The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham, the Virgin Mary, where many people go to worship; Heritage Railways from the Air, featuring fascinating aerial views of three of the country's most popular steam railways. All of our videos are available on VHS (PAL & NTSC) and Region '0' DVD. They make the perfect gift or souvenir whether it is for Christmas, birthdays, any special occasion or just for fun. We have had excellent reviews from magazines such as Steam Railway and the Dalesman and customer comments. It is available via mail order or from various retail outlets.

In the last twelve months we've produced several programmes for both BBC1 and ITV1. Our programmes include: I Thee Wed; Sports Awards In The North; Yorkshire Greats; Lincolnshire Greats; The Look North Years and currently Yorkshire Steam for Yorkshire Television.

Our corporate video productions include: Too Young to Die, a dramatic twenty minute  video commissioned by the road safety charity Brake; Your Journey through Heart Surgery, an instructional video for patients, commissioned by The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and the charity Take Heart; Yorkshire and the Olympic Bid, commissioned by Yorkshire Forward and BBC Yorkshire to support London's bid for the Olympic Games in 2012; Altogether Now 3, profiles the community work of BBC Local Radio in the north of England; Piracy is a Crime, c ommissioned by Blueprint PR Services and The Industry Trust for IP Awareness is an instructional video to outline the commercial dangers of video piracy to the media industries.

BNT also supplies training to the University of Leeds, planning and providing substantial elements of the practical instruction courses for Broadcast Journalism and Broadcast Studies students. BNT deliver single camera and non-linear editing training to both courses and assists in the delivery of the Sports Journalism element of the 3rd year BA Broadcast Journalism course. BNT can also provide corporate television training and have provided input to television training programmes for commercial companies such as Hammonds Suddard Edge and HBOS
